Ugh, I hate the humidity, good thing I have some homebrew nearby to help cool me off.

I know we’ve been quiet lately, but that’s only because we’re planning some things….big things. I could be more mysterious about it and drop all kinds of hints but why not just cut down to the brass tacks?

Rhode Island Mini Maker Faire

This fantastic event is where the RIBS idea was born. It is a celebration of DIY, garage arts and general flights of fancy. At this event it doesn’t matter what you make, it only matters that you make and you want to share it with all. Maker Faire RI will occur as part of AS220’s FooFest, which is a celebration of music and art. We will be there doing our usual brewing demonstration outside. Feel free to drop by the booth and say hello and talk beer!

Rhode Island Brew Fest – Summer Edition

Matt and the Grey Matter Marketing crew is up to it again, putting together another awesome festival down at Ninigret park in Charleston. We had a blast at the last festival and are happy to be returning for a day under the tents out in the park. Look for our table, sample our brews and tell us what you think. Of course questions are always welcome, we love to talk about beer. For tickets and more information visit http://ribrewfest.com/summer/

And Now for Something Completely Different…

If you recently decided to emerge from your subterranean shelter that you took refuge in 4 years ago, you’ll be happy to know that Dogfish Head is returning to the Ocean State sometime this year. No specific dates have been announced yet. But it’s happening. (And while I didn’t make the original tweet, I am glad they’ve seen a *^%&*%* map)

Stay tuned for more updates, if we’re not too busy drinking craft beer. Check out Motif  for my monthly musings on the state of beer in RI. Till next time. Cheers!
